The National Ballet of China put on Don Quixote at the Tianqiao Theater in Beijing on Dec 25-26, 2015. It was the final performance of the 2nd China International Ballet Season that lasted from Nov 6 to Dec 26. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Sponsored by the National Ballet of China and co-undertaken by the Beijing Ballet of China Performing Arts Company and the Tianqiao Theater, the 2nd China International Ballet Season featured a feast of shows, exhibitions, lectures, interviews on the history of ballet as well as a photography contest.

The world-renowned dancers from top ballet troupes all over the world such as Paris Opera Ballet, Bolshoi Theater of Russia and American Ballet Theater, as well as top Chinese ballet troupes have brought their classic works to the ballet season.
