Instead of burning the midnight oil, Fan Lu, another top scorer in science in Gansu province, always went to sleep at 11 every night.
Fan, scoring 690 in the national entrance examination of 2016, also took a one-hour noon break every day.
According to Fan, listening carefully in every class helps better understand new courses.
