Four newly-opened sections for the 90th anniversary of the Palace Museum will be open. The major exhibition, Pure Elegance: A Special Exhibition of Ru Ware in The Palace Museum is ongoing at the Yanxi Gong (Palace of Prolonging Happiness).

The Ru kilns were ranked first among the five great kilns, in large part because the light sky-blue glaze applied to elegant Ru porcelain appealed to the aesthetic tastes of ancient literati and scholar-officials.
