Centre to certify e-commerce operator

The Shanghai Professional Technique Appraisal Centre started profession certification for e-commerce operators, Jiefang Daily reported.

E-commerce operators help conduct business transactions with Internet technology, an official at the centre said.

Authorities estimate there are more than 25,000 local enterprises in the city who do business online, and at least 150,000 such e-commerce operators are needed.
