Akihito, leaves home for the Imperial Palace in Tokyo October 5,

Princess Sayako arrives at the Imperial Palace to
attend a ceremony to formally announce the date of her wedding in Tokyo
October 5, 2005. Sayako will get married to Tokyo city hall employee
Yoshiki Kuroda on November 15.
