Researchers have developed an intelligent "bin on wheels" robot that can stop outside your door and pick up your rubbish when you call, the Daily Mail of London reported. The human-sized robot, called DustCart, is mounted with cameras and other sensors so it can "see" where it is going. It scans the path ahead to avoid stationary objects. It also picks out moving objects like pedestrians or bikes to avoid a collision.
