Water cake melts in 30 min

Water cake is a new invention from Japanese company Kinseiken Seika, according to foreign media. It needs to be consumed within 30 minutes, after which it will simply turn into a sweet puddle. It looks like a large water drop or transparent jelly, but it's actually shingen mochi, made of water sourced from the Southern Japanese Alps, lightly sweetened, and solidified just enough to give it a definite shape. It retains its shape for just 30 minutes before melting, so it needs to be consumed in the company's shops and cannot be ordered "to go".(See photo)
據(jù)外媒報道，日本金精軒制果公司推出一款新式水蛋糕，顧客須在30分鐘之內(nèi)吃完這種美食，否則它就會化作一灘糖水。雖然外形看起來像是一大滴水珠，或是透明的果凍，但它其實是一塊信玄麻糬。水蛋糕制作用水來自日本南阿爾卑斯山脈，略帶甜味，凝固到剛好足夠保持形狀。由于其僅能保持形狀30分鐘，所以顧客只能在店里吃，而不能打包帶走。(見圖)
