Liaoning recruits government officials among returned students

Northeast China's Liaoning Province, an important industrial base in the country, recently decided to recruit government officials from among Chinese students who won at least master's degrees abroad.

A notice, jointly issued by the provincial personnel bureau, science and technology bureau and foreign affairs office, said the province will offer 51 government official posts for candidates who are under 45 years of age.

The vacant seats are distributed in the relevant departments of the provincial government, and government departments of a dozen cities in the province.

According to stipulations, candidates should be of Chinese nationality, who returned to China after studying in a foreign country.

Those who are employed will work at relevant posts for three years, sources said.

The deadline for candidates to sign up is July 14.
