Turkey's Halil Mutlu lifted his third Olympic gold medal when he won the men's 56kg weightlifting at the 28th Olympic Games on Saturday.

China's Wu Meijin was second at 287.5 and Sedat Artuc, also from Turkey, finished third at 280.

With 135kg from snatch and 160kg from jerk, Mutlu, who named himself as "Little Naim" after his idol Naim Suleymanoglu, secured the gold with a total of 295kgs.
