Chinese Peacock heading to Berlin

Chinese Peacock heading to Berlin

Renowned Chinese directors held a send-off on Saturday for the film "Peacock", which has been selected for the 55th Berlin International Film Festival, starting on February 10th.

Other Chinese films such as director Tsai Ming-Liang's "The Wayward Cloud" and veteran actress Liu Xiaoqing's "Plastic Flowers" are also competing for this year's Golden Bear Award.

"Peacock", by Chinese sixth generation filmmaker Gu Changwei, will be released in China on February 18th.
