Man bitten by civet cat waits anxiously
A man in Wuhan of Hubei Province is on pins and needles since being bitten last week by a civet cat, reportedly the SARS virus carrier, Chutian Metropolis News reports. Wan was bitten on a finger when he caught a "strange animal," that turned out to be a civet cat, on Tuesday. For fear of being infected by the deadly virus, he rushed to a local hospital, where doctors were not clear how to handle the case and only gave him rabies vaccine, instead. Wan is hoping some expert will come to his aid to study his condition. |
