Contest on to find Chinese wedding march

The hunt is on for a Chinese wedding march to replace the traditional western bands which are now often used at weddings, China Youth Daily reports.

Sponsored by the China Musician Association and the organizing committee of "Our Civilization" of the All-China Youth Federation, the contest aims to find wedding music that features Chinese culture.

The winning band stands to gain 100,000 yuan (US$12,050).
