Hotline gives women shoulder to cry on

Women in Guangzhou can now vent their feelings to professional consultants through a hotline set up by the Guangzhou Women's Federation.
Launched on December 6, the hot line (3861-3861) is on service from Monday to Friday, with 33 extensions.
Wei Ling, a consultant, said she receives dozens of calls every day, and most of the calls were about relations with husbands.
"We will teach the women how to protect their own rights through legal ways," Wei said.
