Marcia Cross being offered to buy back her own 'stolen' nude pictures

'Desperate Housewives' actress Marcia Cross is reportedly taking the services of her lawyers to get her nude photographs back from Phoenix-based agent David Hans Schmidt.
Schmidt has gotten more than 200 personal photos of Cross, which include ones showing her taking a shower outdoors.
"There are some pictures of her showering outside. She looks absolutely gorgeous. And yes, the carpet does match the curtains," the New York Daily News quoted him as saying.
He says that the photographs were discovered by one of the employees of a carting firm that had been hired to remove trash from Cross' home in Loss Angeles.
Cross' lawyers say that the photographs are the copyrighted property of the actress and her husband, Tom Mahoney, and that they were thrown out by mistake.
However, Schmidt contends that the pictures were not stolen, and that the copyright law would not be a trouble if they are sold abroad.
"The pictures were not stolen. When you throw something away, you forfeit that property," he said.
"We recognize the copyright issue, but U.S. copyright law stops at the border," he added.
Schmidt has not said anything as to whether he had any plans to sell the pictures abroad, though he has invited Cross to buy back her trash.
"I'm not looking to mortify Ms. Cross. I just want the most money for my client," he said.
Schmidt also says that he has access to Cross' tax returns too, but he does not want to discuss it at this point of time.
"I know how much she made, but out of respect for Ms. Cross, I won't discuss it," he said.
Cross' lawyers were not available for comments. (ANI)
