Angelina Jolie graces cover of January's Vogue

Angelina Jolie appears on the cover of Vogue magazine's January issue. Jolie stands among the sand dunes of California's Death Valley.

"It was almost like a studio portrait, but in the desert," famed photographer Annie Leibovitz told In Touch magazine about her second experience photographing the Oscar-winning do-gooder.

"I loved using just the desert as a simple background," Annie says. "The only problem was that it was 105 degrees and it was boiling."
