Anne Hathaway is one starlet who won't be buying into the size zero craze.
She is frequently featured on best dressed lists and praised for her curves, so she will not lose them for a possible film role.
While other stars like Kate Bosworth and Nicole Richie are shrinking before the paparazzi's lenses, Hathaway is aiming to be a role model for teenage girls. She said, "It's completely understandable as a teenager to fret about your body. It's scary because you don't know how it's going to wind up. But I'm not a teenager any more; my body's chosen its shape."
Hathaway continued, "I'd rather be strong than skinny for most roles. I'm not
a size zero, and I've had directors say to me, 'You're the best actress for the
role, but you've put on weight recently.' If people can't understand you've put
on five pounds, I don't want to deal with them."
