Large Medium SmallThe band will appear in both a 90-minute documentary and this year's Children In Need fundraiser, with the BBC promising a "new song" from the girl power group.
The BBC has also revealed that the girls will record this year's Children In Need single, and are believed to be penning a song especially for the campaign.
"We've got full involvement from all of them. They are all keen to get involved with Children In Need," Contactmusic quoted BBC One controller Peter Fincham, as saying.
"They are recording two new songs and one of them might be a single," he added.
The documentary will be aired in the autumn this year, directly ahead of the band's winter comeback world tour.
