Uta, winner of the first season of singing competition Rock The Web, arrived at Los Angeles on October 14, 2012 to begin her Hollywood journey. In the following week, she will record her first single produced by The Matrix, the production team used by Avril Lavigne, Shakira and Ricky Martin. Michael Jackson's teacher Seth Riggs will give her special training at the same time. It is the first time that a Chinese singing competition provided contestants with a chance to work with a famous musician and international production team.

On July 14, 2012, Rock The Web named Guandong singer Uta the winner for her breathtaking performance of "Olive Tree". This won her a record contract to launch her international singing career. Uta has been discussing details of the single with The Matrix team ever since. She also wrote the lyrics for the Chinese version of the single. Her unique musical style is expected to be showcased in the song.

Also joining Uta are the winners of the Most Active Fan competition, and Ke'erqinfu, a famous Chinese music journalist and director of The Chinese Association for the Study of Popular Music. The group will enjoy luxury cars and a mansion in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. The Hollywood Walk of Fame, a tour organized by the Academy Awards and a look at the mansion gifted by Michael Jackson to Seth Riggs, are also included in the group's journey.
