China has re-entered the world's top 20 music markets at No 20, replacing South Africa, according to Recording Industry in Numbers 2013 released by the Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).

According to the book, which is available digitally in English, Spanish and Mandarin, China's music industry grew by 9 percent in 2012. Digital sales accounted for 82 percent of total revenues of the Chinese music industry, the highest digital share among the top 20 markets.

IFPI is an organization that promotes the interests of the international recording industry worldwide.
