9. Painted enamel crabapple flower basket

Specification: 13.5centimeters in height, and 16.5-17 centimeters in diameter.
The yellow ground of this flower basket is a distinct sign of the late Kangxi period of the early Qing Dynasty, when the painted enamel arts reached their peak. The pink crabapple flowers, contrasted with small blue lotuses, were painted on the basket to signal a wish for wealth and harmony. The basket, made for imperial use, is one of the representative painted enamel works created under the direction of several European artists.
10. Painted enamel lidded flowerpot

Specification: 38.7 centimeters in height, and 9.3-12.2 centimeters in diameter.
Made in the middle Qing Dynasty for imperial use, the lidded flowerpot is considered a masterpiece for its unique pattern of different flowers painted with more than 20 colors. The flowers depicted on the pot range from large to small and are arranged in both gathered and scattered formations.
