Chefs from InterContinental Beijing Beichen attend the MLA Black Box Culinary competition.

InterContinental Beijing Beichen’s western kitchen team was awarded with the gold medal and overall winner in the prestigious MLA Black Box Culinary Challenge 2012. The MLA Black Box Culinary Challenge is a team-based chef competition organized by Meat & Lifestock Australia, showcasing high quality Australian prime meat products creative chefs around the world. The China qualification event this year in Beijing involved 13 teams from mainly International five-star hotels and clubs.
