Horseshoe crabs

These strange creatures roamed among the dinosaurs at a time when organisms were still moving from sea to land. Horseshoe crabs have maintained their primitive structures and in the land of seafood, they are appreciated for their roe.

Autumn and early winter is the mating season, and the king crabs proliferate along the Beihai shores, where they land to mate. Fortunately, with so many other delicious options, they are dimming in popularity.
