中國日報網(wǎng)環(huán)球在線消息：2月3日，本網(wǎng)從歐洲委員會駐華代表團新聞處獲悉，歐洲委員會主席巴羅佐致函中國總理溫家寶，就中國雨雪冰凍災害表示親切慰問。
該新聞處說，歐洲委員會主席若澤·曼努埃爾·巴羅佐致函溫家寶總理，對在過去一周內(nèi)中國很多地區(qū)遭遇的異常惡劣天氣以及由此帶來的種種困難表示親切慰問。受天氣的影響很多中國人在一年中最重要的節(jié)日前返家團聚的旅行受到了阻礙。
巴羅佐主席衷心地希望目前的困難能夠盡早得到解決，并保證歐盟在這個關(guān)鍵時刻將本著雙方人民間的友誼和團結(jié)精神提供一切必需的幫助。

Dear All,
This is to inform you that European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso sent a message of sympathy and solidarity to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao following the unusually harsh weather conditions that have beset many parts of China over the past week and caused hardship and disruption for many ordinary Chinese citizens at this important time of the year when they are travelling home to be with their families.
He expressed his sincere hope that the current difficulties can be resolved as soon as possible and also pledged any necessary help that the European Union might be able to offer China in this time of need in the spirit of friendship and solidarity between both peoples.
