TOKYO: Japanese Finance Minister Naoto Kan said Friday he has no plans to pressure China to reform the yuan's exchange rate, according to a Kyodo News report.

At a regular news conference, Kan said that pressuring China "would not be good."

The finance minister will visit China and meet Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and other top Chinese officials during the weekend.
