KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Four people were killed on Thursday in a bomb attack in Kandahar city, the capital of southern Afghan province of Kandahar, when memorial service of Ahmad Wali Karzai, the late brother of President Hamid Karzai, was underway, an official who declined to be identified told Xinhua.

Ahmad Wali Karzai, the head of Kandahar Provincial Council, was assassinated at his home on Tuesday.
