Track and field: 田徑，田徑賽
離雅典奧運(yùn)會(huì)開幕還有三周，美國奧組委嚴(yán)厲譴責(zé)美國田徑協(xié)會(huì)（U.S. track
federation）高層忽視了藥檢問題的嚴(yán)重性。據(jù)悉，美國田協(xié)于7月19日公布了參加雅典奧運(yùn)會(huì)的運(yùn)動(dòng)員名單，兩名此前藥檢呈陽性的選手仍然名列其中。外電有這樣的報(bào)道：As

rarely find the spotlight. 田徑是奧運(yùn)會(huì)的第一大項(xiàng)，也是美國奧運(yùn)代表團(tuán)的奪金大項(xiàng)，track and
field的意思就是“田徑，田徑賽”，相關(guān)的詞匯還有g(shù)round track field（田徑運(yùn)動(dòng)場(chǎng)）；thinclad（田徑運(yùn)動(dòng)員）等。
