據朝鮮國家獸醫緊急防疫委員會消息，最近朝鮮下塘養雞場等幾個養雞場已經發生了禽流感，造成數十萬只雞死亡。到目前為止，還沒有發現有養雞場的工作人員被感染的情況。外電報道如下：North Korean officials for the first time
have acknowledged that avian flu has broken out in the country.
"Hundreds of thousands" of chickens were burned before burial to
prevent spread of the disease, which can spread to humans, the country's
official media outlet Korean Central News Agency said on Sunday.
However, KCNA said North Korea had no reports of human infection.
The report said the State Emergency Veterinary and Anti-Epizootic
Committee was working on the problem, reporting outbreaks in "a few"
locations, including the Hadang Chicken Farm, one of Pyongyang's largest.
Epizootic表示“動物、家畜流行病”，通常在某些特定區域同時發生，能危害大量動物。
