報(bào)道中的face lift指的是“翻新”，lift有一個(gè)義項(xiàng)是“整容（除去面部皺紋的手術(shù)）”，face
lift可以指整容，也能指建筑物外觀的改造和翻新，把長(zhǎng)城上的那些刻痕給去掉，不就是給它“整容、翻新”嗎？看來(lái)，用face
lift來(lái)比喻“翻新”，真是很貼切。
