Former U.S. President Ford dies

Flags fly at half staff in memory of former U.S. President Gerald Ford at the
Washington Monument as military helicopters pass over the dome of the Capitol in
Washington December 27, 2006. Ford, the 38th U.S. President, died at his home in
California on Tuesday at age 93. Ford's body will lie in state for a period of
public mourning in the Capitol Rotunda beginning this weekend. (Reuters)
