Sooner or later [ 2007-04-19 08:00 ] “Young man,
where do you work?” the judge asked the defendant. “Here and there,” said the
young man. “What do you do for a living?” “This and that.” “Take him
away,” said the judge. The young man said, “Wait a minute! When a minute!
When will I get out?”
The judge replied, “Sooner or later.” (The judge thinks that the young man did not
respond to his questions in a serious way, so he returns the favor in his
response.)
