第9屆新德里亞運(yùn)會吉祥物——阿波
The mascot for the Games was Appu – a kid elephant. Known in real life as "Kuttinarayanan", this elephant fractured its leg in an accident when he was seven years old – he stepped into a septic tank. That wound would not heal and it eventually killed him. Kuttinarayanan died on May 14, 2005.
第9屆亞運(yùn)會吉祥物是印度的過手——亞洲象，取名“阿波”，象征智慧、力量和忠誠。它額頭點(diǎn)著朱砂痣，跳著印度舞，甩著長鼻子，熱烈歡迎來自亞洲各地的運(yùn)動員們。它代表了特有的印度文化和風(fēng)土人情。
10th Asian Games Seoul 1986 - the Korean Tiger
第10屆漢城亞運(yùn)會吉祥物 ——太極虎Hodori
Hodori was the official mascot of the 10th Asian Games Seoul 1986 and 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea.
The stylized tiger was designed by Kim Hyun as an amicable Amur Tiger, portraying the friendly and hospitable traditions of the Korean people. "Ho" is derived from the Korean word for tiger ("horangi", Korean: ???), and "dori" is a diminutive for boys in Korean.
第10屆亞運(yùn)會吉祥物與1988年漢城奧運(yùn)會共用了一個吉祥物——太極虎。韓國人選擇較具東方色彩的小老虎作為漢城亞運(yùn)會的吉祥物，取名Hodori。這個名叫"Hodori"的老虎被設(shè)計稱為一只友善的動物，代表了韓國人熱情好客的傳統(tǒng)。"Ho"來自于韓語的虎，而"Dori"是韓國人稱呼小男孩常用的一種愛稱。

Beijing hosted the 11th Asian Games in September-October 1990. This was the first time that the People's Republic of China hosted the Asian Games. The Games' mascot was a great panda called "Panpan."
第十一屆亞洲運(yùn)動會于1990年9月22日至10月7日在中國北京舉行，這也是中國首次舉辦亞運(yùn)會。為辦好本屆亞洲運(yùn)動會，中國亞運(yùn)會組委會確定以熊貓為本屆亞運(yùn)會吉祥物。活潑可愛的熊貓“盼盼”手持亞運(yùn)會獎?wù)拢瑥堥_雙臂，鼓勵體育健兒創(chuàng)造更多的好成績，成了中國人家喻戶曉的形象。
12th Asian Games Hiroshima 1994 - PoPPo (male) & CuCCu (female), the doves

The 1994 12th Asian Games held in Hiroshima, Japan had PoPPo (male) and CuCCu (female), two dove characters that were chosen to symolise peace and harmony and bring tranquility into the homes of Japan. Symbolic doves are thought to bring happiness and good chi (balance) into everyday life.
象征和平的白鴿作為廣島亞運(yùn)會的代言，不僅可以作為廣島1945年8月6日遭受美軍投下第一枚原子彈襲擊的見證，同時也象征廣島所宣揚(yáng)的和平與反戰(zhàn)精神。組委會希望藉由這兩只吉祥物，散播和平友誼的種子及溫馨。

14th Asian Games Busan 2002 - Duria, a seagull

The official Mascot of the 14th Asian Games is a sea gull, the city bird of Busan. The mascot's name is "Duria", which means "you and me together”, in the Korean language, and expresses the ideal of the Games: To promote unity and partnership among Asian countries.
第十四屆釜山亞運(yùn)會的吉祥物是主辦地釜山市的市鳥——一只展翅高飛的海鷗。吉祥物的昵稱為“篤立亞(DURIA)”，與韓國語中“我和你在一起”的“倆(DURI)”諧音。因此，它與“增進(jìn)參加大會的全體亞洲國家的團(tuán)結(jié)和友誼，謀求不斷發(fā)展”的大會理念相符。
15th Asian Games Doha 2006 - Orry, the Qatari oryx
第15屆多哈亞運(yùn)會吉祥物——阿拉伯羚羊奧利
Orry, a Qatari oryx , is the Official Mascot of the Doha Asian Games 2006. He is brave, independent, gentle and playful and represents the Qatari values of peace, hope and community spirit. Proud of his country, he loves his family and is passionate about sports. He is an ideal symbol to celebrate Qatar's historic role in hosting the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006.
第15屆亞運(yùn)會吉祥物是一只名叫“奧利”(Orry)的卡塔爾羚羊。它身穿印有亞運(yùn)會太陽標(biāo)志的黃色背心和藍(lán)色短褲，充滿激情，動力十足。多哈亞組委總干事阿?阿爾卡赫塔尼說，卡塔爾羚羊象征著這個年輕的國家和年輕的政府。
