今年7月10日至12日，美國西部城市比尤特將連續(xù)第二年承辦 “民間文化節(jié)”。此次文化節(jié)將舉辦一項特殊比賽——“撒謊大賽”。據(jù)悉，主辦方將對參賽人數(shù)和參賽者的身份做出限定，該比賽只限于“業(yè)余”撒謊者，律師、政客和專利藥品推銷商不得參加。參賽者將在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)制造謊言，而最后勝出的“撒謊大師”將獲得獎品。

All scissorbills, shills, mountebanks, rounders and boondogglers are invited to the National Folk Festival in Butte next month to give their best shot at the title of Top Liar.
A liar's contest will be part of the festivities when the National Folk Festival returns to Butte for the second year in a row July 10 to 12.
The contest, which is a unique event in tribute to the culture of the American West, according to a news release, will have contestants not only competing for bragging rights but also for a unique trophy that will be announced at the event.
Each contestant will be allowed a set amount of time to compete. The number of contestants will, by necessity, be limited as well, according to the news release.
Anyone interested in demonstrating their skills at hyperbole and guile can sign up at the Talkin' Horse Booth at the Montana Folklife Area any time Saturday prior to the contest, which starts at 5 p.m. at the Folklife Stage.
"This event is strictly limited to amateurs; lawyers, politicians, patent medicine salesmen or motivational speakers need not apply. Judges, however, will likely be drawn from a list of auspicious professionals in the aforementioned professions," the news release states.
