Large Medium SmallEnglish author Dick King-Smith is known for his children's books, such as The Sheep-Pig, which was adapted into the movie Babe. His collection of animal novels has been published in Chinese.
The new series contains 18 books. All of the stories come from daily life and show the relationships between animals and humans. His story depicts a world of love among different animals.
Shen Shixi, a Chinese author of children's books, believes King-Smith's stories not only tell the children how to live but also, more importantly, encourage them to be brave in changing their fates.
