Women have a one-in-six chance of getting Alzheimer's disease while figures for men are only one-in-eleven.

Age may be one of the most important factors for gender difference of Alzheimer's patients, based on Alzheimer's Association surveys of over 3,000 women.

Every 67 seconds, someone may develop Alzheimer's in the U.S, as Alzheimer is a fatal disease ranking behind cancer and heart disease.
