Attendees to the second session of the 12th Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) reached a consensus on the need to promote judicial transparency and assure judicial fairness, during a group discussion on Jan 29.

Representatives from the province’s superior people's court and people's procuratorate delivered their annual work reports for 2018, and discussed how to tackle problems and meet their objectives in 2019.

Many of the representatives spoke of the need to promote a good business environment and ensure the healthy development of the private economy.
