Bayanqolu, Party chief of Jilin province, attended a meeting with the delegation of the People's Liberation Army and the armed police in the capital city of Changchun on Jan 13, according to local officials.

It was part of the third session of the 13th Jilin Provincial People's Congress, which opened on Jan 12.

Bayanqolu thanked officers and soldiers for their contributions to Jilin province over the past year, especially in areas of reducing poverty and supporting regional development.

The Party chief said he hoped they would continue to support regional economic development in the province and help spur Jilin’s revitalization.
