The Confucian culture has been deeply rooted into the minds of the Chinese people, and is also a treasure for global culture," Liu Jiangping mentioned in her speech.

Shandong is enriched with natural resources. It is also a major foreign trade province, with a trade volume accounting to more than 240 billion US dollars last year. The agricultural products processing, new energy technology, machinery manufacturing, biomedicine, and high-tech industries are taking the leading places in China. In recent years, Shandong has strengthened cooperation with Kazakhstan, and the event held in Shandong will promote further cooperation with Kazakhstan, Liu added.
