The Anhui Tourism Bureau has launched a campaign named Famous Tour Guides to Cities, inviting 10 famous tour guides, who were included in the expert database of the National Tourism Administration, to give lectures in six cities and key counties all around the province. The activity will last until March 2014.
Currently, there are 133 4A scenic spots in Anhui province. However, most of them are unpopular and only see tourists from limited regions. The tourism bureau invited the well-known tour guides to give lectures in scenic spots all over the province. The lectures will cover tourism statistics, tourism safety, establishment of tourist attractions, application for tourism projects and related policies, supervision on the tourism market and other relevant topics.
