On April 21, DRC Vice President Liu Shijin met with Mr. Nobuo Tanaka, Executive Director of International Energy Agency (IEA) and his colleagues from IEA. Dr. Liu briefed the guests on China’s strategy for future energy development, and on the study that DRC is undertaking regarding the energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as the issue of climate change. Both sides expressed the wish to enhance the communication and cooperation in energy research.
