On May 19, DRC President Zhang Yutai met with a delegation headed by Mr. Mihai Tudose, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Policy, Reform and Privatization of Romanian Parliament. President Zhang briefed the delegation on the current economic situation, the measures and policies adopted by Chinese government to combat the financial crisis and economic downturn. He made his analysis of the trend in the future economic development. The guests also introduced the situation in Romania. Those attended the meeting included Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, Dr. Zhang Xiaoji, Director General of Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Feng Fei, Director General of Department of Industrial Economy, and Mr. Yu Bin Director General of Department of Macroeconomic Research.
