Abstract: Exploring mechanisms for value realization of ecological products is the key approach to implementing the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. Since Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region enjoys rich eco-tourism resources, developing eco-tourism is the most important approach to value realization of its ecological products. The typical examples include the all-for-one tourism development mode of Mulei county that focuses on the cultural tourism industry by integrating the primary, secondary and tertiary industries and that of Zhaosu county on Tianma culture by integrating tourism with sports. Both of the modes have made valuable pilot practices and innovations in value realization of ecological products and achieved remarkable results plus valuable references. The main enlightenments picked up from Xinjiang’s pilot practices of value realization of ecological products mainly include attaching great importance to the leading role of overall planning and policy support, highlighting the importance of tourism in domestic economic growth, coordinate the functions of various departments and further enhance industrial integrated development.
