Winning works by college students from Fujian province in the "PhotoBRICS" contest were displayed at the 2017 BRICS Youth Forum Photo Exhibition, a sideline of the BRICS Youth Forum held in Beijing from July 25 to 27.
Set to promote art exchange among youth from BRICS countries - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, the contest was initiated in 2016.
In its second year running, the contest focused on images that reflect young figures captured in important moments of their lives. It collected photography works from residents aged between 18 and 35 from BRICS countries, from which 11 finalists were shortlisted..
Three of the winning works were created by students of the Fujian Normal University in Fuzhou, Fujian province - Lin Xiang, Ye Xiaohui, and Zhu Gaohang.
