Tourism Group pursues acquisition

The Xiamen Tourism Group acquired 60 percent of Kinmen Wujiang Hotel’s shares with 400 million New Taiwan Dollars during the 16th CIFIT.

As a tourist hinterland of Xiamen, Kinmen holds good infrastructure and convenient transportation, and a premiere investment destination, according to Zheng Jinlong, chairmen of Xiamen Tourism Group.

Many local characteristics would be injected into reconstruction. It will get upgraded to a multi-function hotel for leisure, vacation and business, which could become the best hotel in Kinmen.

“We have boats for ‘xiao san tong’ (allowing postal, transportation and trade between Fujian and the islands of Kinmen and Mstsu) and travel agencies with integration of resources to bring a positive chain effect in the future,” said Zheng.
