The 2017 Colorful Guizhou Culture and Art Festival was held in the Guizhou Cultural Creative Industry Zone from June 10-11, showcasing the province's intangible cultural heritages and unique traditions.
The festival highlighted cultural traditions from Sinan county of Tongren, featuring festive lanterns of the Tujia ethnic group, boatmen's chanting and lion dances.
Other performance included a grand choir of the Dong ethnic group from Congjiang county and songs of spring from Shiqian county. Sinan county organized the event to promote its long history and colorful cultures. The county boasts one national-level intangible cultural heritage and four at the provincial level.
