For the convenience of citizens, Guizhou province integrated services for government affairs at the end of June, making government applications quicker and easier.
In recent years, after three rounds of simplification, Guizhou has canceled over 6,000 evidentiary materials, reduced the time needed for examination and approval of applications by 50 percent, and cleaned up 6,306 evidentiary materials with no legal basis.
To further improve the efficiency and convenience of government affairs services, Guizhou selected the 21 most important application items and provided integrated services for them at 110 comprehensive government affairs halls throughout the province.
These items include applications for opening restaurants of under 300 square meters, drug stores, hair salons, second-hand housing businesses, kindergartens of over 300 sq m, small retail sections, internet bars, the purchase and sale of explosives for civil use, hotels of over 200 sq m, travel agencies, and clinics.
The government affairs halls will integrate various examination and approval items involving different departments for a single application, and provide customized services for companies and individuals, saving them the trouble of repeatedly submitting evidentiary materials.
Guizhou will also improve the efficiency of transferring materials between different departments. With the one-stop function of the government affairs hall, people only need to submit materials at the integration service window for relevant applications.
People can also use the online government affairs hall to complete applications with one set of materials and tables.
