This year's China Shijiazhuang (Zhengding) Northern Tea Exposition will be opening on Sept 5, according to a news conference, in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, running through Sept 8.
It is being held in the central square of the Zhengding small commodities fair on a 15,000-square-meter space with two exhibition halls on the square and in the Northern Tea Mall.
The sponsors are the Shijiazhuang and Zhengding governments and various tea organizations and enterprises, whose goal is to promote Chinese tea culture and the tea business in northern China and develop the provincial tea industry.
It is expecting more than 200 prominent tea companies from all over China to take part, and around 600 purchasing agents. There will also be many other activities involving various new products, such as tea food, tea sets, and tea health care products.
