Ruzhou Merchants Steamship Company says that the city has attracted 26 investment programs in the first two months of this year.
The contracts will bring altogether 12.45 billion yuan ($2.02 billion) into the city, a year-on-year growth of 151 percent. About 860 million yuan has already arrived, a year-on-year growth of 16.5 percent.
Ruzhou city has put great emphasis on investment attraction this year. It has taken many measures to attract famous companies and experts.
Recently, managers of various famous companies have visited the city, such as Shuangliiang Group of Jiangsu province and China Telecom. Leading officials from universities in Beijing and Shanghai have also come to discuss cooperation in various programs, covering areas of urban heat supply, natural gas and the Ruzhou porcelain industry.
