On Jan 30, colorful balloons flew into the sky and pile machines gave off deafening sounds in the Optoelectronic Industry Park of Kunshan Development Zone.
A total of 105 major projects worth 60.8 billion yuan have began construction, unfolding a new tide of investment, construction and development in Kunshan.
The projects commenced simultaneously and are all key projects of the leading industries, emerging industries and service industries in Kunshan, Jiangsu province.
The total investment is 60.8 billion yuan, with 21.8 billion yuan worth of the investment to be completed in 2012. The commencement of these projects will effectively promote the development of high-end leading industries, become bases for emerging industries and large-scale service industries in Kunshan. It will also accelerate economic transformation and upgrading, and significantly boost the industrial competitiveness of Kunshan.
