Yunmeng county resident Wang Shuiming is very proud of his lotus bonsais. He has more than 20 of them.
Lotus bonsai has become a new fashion among local residents of Yunmeng county, Hubei province. Villagers use old water vat to grow lotuses for their roots and use the vat as a miniascape for decoration. Some people keep fish in the vat to add the fun.
