'Grandma Expo' promotes Olympics with saxophone
An old woman plays the saxophone on a street in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province on April 26, 2012. Ying Miaofang, a Zhejiang native in her 70s, plays her instrument as a way of promoting the London Olympics and supporting Chinese athletes. She got her nickname "Grandma Expo" from her contribution to the Shanghai World Expo in 2010, when she rented a room to provide foreigners with free accommodation. Her kindness was noticed by Chinese premier Wen Jiabao, who praised her at the closing ceremony of the Expo. Ying has a passport and started to learn English in order to go to London for the next phase of her campaign.
